Where to travel to the US West Coast when you have too many interesting destinations but time is limited?
Grand Canyon National Park
Grand Canyon National Park is considered a wonderful gift by nature mother. The large size of 4,926km2 with the depth of up to 1800m and the colorful rock layers, all create an extremely spectacular scenery. The Grand Canyon consists of two main public areas, South Rim and North Rim, of which the South Rim terrain is the easiest to travel, attracting about 90% of visitors. You can stay in a motel there or camp in a private area. And the common way to see the vast Grand Canyon is to ride on the back of a mule - an animal that can overcome any rugged terrain. This national park is also a paradise for backpackers or hiking sports enthusiasts. 
When to go: the  two best times to make a trip to the Grand Canyon are in the spring (March - May) and autumn (September - November). Summer should be avoided - the peak tourist season of the year.

Las Vegas

If you have traveled the US West Coast, it is impossible not to visit the famous Las Vegas. Hotels, casinos, nightclubs, restaurants, shopping centers and many other entertainment attractions are welcoming you, especially if you are a nightlife lover. If you like thrilling rides, try Richard Petty at Las Vegas racetrack, rollercoaster or thrilling shooting. 
If you don't like the buzzing nightlife of Las Vegas, get out of the city and visit Red Rock Canyon National Park, just 17 miles from Las Vegas. This is also the place used as a natural studio for many famous movies.
When to go: you should avoid Las Vegas in the summer because the weather is so hot. Winters are more comfortable but fall into the peak tourist season. So the best time to travel to Las Vegas is from March to May and from September to November.

Monument Valley

Monument Valley is one of the iconic landscapes of the US West Coast. Located on the border between Arizona and Colorado, Monument Valley contains huge blocks of red sandstone, on a background of sandy soil from deposited rivers. The typical red color of the valley is the result of iron oxide clinging to weathered crystalline powder, creating a very majestic landscape. Not only that, the towering cliffs seen from afar look like giant monuments, so Monument Valley is also known as "Monument Valley". Because the scene is so special, it's often the directors "choosing the face to send gold" as the backdrop for many famous cowboy movies.
When to go:  you should avoid going in the summer because Monument Valley is a true desert. The ideal time for a discovery is in the spring or autumn, when the temperature has cooled down.

Lake Powell

Powell Lake is the second largest artificial lake in the US, a destination not to be missed when traveling the US West Coast. The area stretches 300km, longer than the entire west coast of the United States. The lake has more than 96 grand canyons to explore. Powell's special feature is the emerald-blue water, winding around the orange canyons with a unique shape. Besides, the lake also attracts many photographers come by Rainbow Bridge - the largest natural bridge in the world and the famous canyon of Antelope Canyon.
When to go:  September is the best time to make a trip to Powell Lake when the temperature has calmed down and there is not much wind and rain. 

The Golden Gate Bridge

One of the iconic bridges of American culture, the Golden Gate Bridge connects San Francisco Bay and the Pacific Ocean. You will see orange highlights in the blue sea of ​​white clouds appearing in countless famous movies and songs. The bridge is free for pedestrians and cyclists. 
When to go:  due to the San Francisco climate, you should not go in the summer due to the fog rolling over the bay, obscuring visibility. Spring and autumn are the best times to explore.
